YeZZ, that's one of the totally underrated sports in Germany -> RUGBY
Normally I'm very sceptical about these ANGLO-whatever sports.
E.g. American football is an absolute joke and cricket ???.
I'm absolutely unable to understand what's fascinating on cricket.
And I suppose that a ?sport? with these characteristics could only
be invented on an island !
(YeZZ I don't deny that I'm a GERMAN EUROPEAN -
2 expressions where real ISLANDERS begin to shiver :-)
But don't forget that the "Island Monkeys" brought us football and another
great sport - and that's RUGBY.
RUGBY's very popular in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and other countries of the
"COMMONWEALTH" (another joke - only understandable with "British humour")
like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and additionally in France and Italy.
Really don't know why it didn't make it's way to Germany though Germany
was the 4th strongest internet nation to support
RUGBY on it's way to the Olympics 2016.

Well done guys, you did a BRILLIANT job
It was the first WC in my life, where every minute of every game of the
"Deutsche Nationalmannschaft" was worth joining/viewing it. "Deutschland,
Ein Sommermärchen" ( Germany, a Summer-Romance) was the headline of an
article of "Rheinische Post", a Duesseldorf based German newspaper ... and it was ...
party, fun and - almost unbelievable - 4 weeks of very fine weather.
That we lost the semi against Italy wasn't nice indeed, but after a short outage
the party and the good mood went on. It's unbelievable and at the moment inconceivable,
what this team and this world cup accomplished for Germany, the Germans,
German football and - above all - for the image of these all.
And by the way: I have to admit that I was totally wrong with my judgement of
Jens Lehmann. Oli and Jens are playing at absolutely the same quality level.
Almost every German is expecting this team to have a bright future.
So lets go on and party some of this awesome football celebrations.
